Clarification needed
So, it’s clear that Jerome Armstrong is incredibly petty and an all-around prick. The question is: did he become this way during the primaries, or has he always been insufferably assholish and we haven’t noticed because he had been on our side for so long?

mm, indeed. i’d wondered the same thing about so many in the hillary camp — were these the same democrats we’ve been theoretically allied with all along, or was it some sinister primary season voodoo that effected this jekyll-hyde transformation of well-meaning progressives into bile-spewing lunatics? fortunately the vast majority have either slipped back into jekyll mode or gone off the radar, but evidently not jerome.

It’s really hard to say whether he’s always been a prick. I mean, “Crashing the Gate” was the bomb. It now appears that Markos deserves most of the credit for that, especially since Jerome (I love how its customary to refer to bloggers by the first names) has repeatedly stated that neither Clinton nor Obama are 50-state candidates. All that stuff about putting the GOP on the defensive in solidly red states was apparently just something to dream about. “Maybe someday …” In the meantime, I guess we keep on losing elections.
That post of his is patently stupid. Of course, things have lulled. The primaries are over. November is a long way off. To suggest that Clinton brings an excitement to the campaign that nobody else can match is horse shit.
And so what if Clinton closed strong? The reason she finished strong late in the primary season has much to do with racism, not to mention Operation Chaos. She lost, plain and simple. Let’s use a baseball analogy. The Obama Giants are head of the Clinton Dodgers 9-3 in the 4th inning. The Clinton Dodgers, however, rally in the late innings and close the Obama Giants’ lead, even though Obama still scores runs. At game’s end, Obama wins 12-8. Sure, Clinton scored more runs in the latter innings (”If you only count the runs from the 7th inning on she wins!”), BUT. SHE. STILL. FUCKING. LOST.
